IMC Preschool Teachers Take on the Asia Montessori Conference in Singapore, October 4-5, 2024.
Last October 4-5, selected IMC Preschool Teachers attended the Asia Montessori Conference in Singapore. The widely-renowned conference took place at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Center. The conference centered on the theme “Peace is an Action, Not Hope.” The theme provided an opportunity for the teachers to dive into teaching methodologies and strategies that foster the values of cooperation and mutual respect. The unique experience of exploring new learnings imparted by thought leaders in the industry and engaging with fellow Montessori educators was deeply appreciated by the preschool teachers who shared their personal experiences. In line with IMC’s goal for its teachers – which is to empower them through further education – it is also a chance to add to the teachers’ core memory of travel and to see the world in a new light.
Below are photos shared by Teacher Malu, who is our Preschool Vice Principal. She is definitely not new to travel, but always open to new learnings and further studies. IMC continues to strive “Onward to excellence,” as we adapt and move forward with new learnings.
